Without falter i will make all days new

Topic: oops

Today I look at life this wonderful balance of chaos and beauty
This constant spin of global mass and subtle surroundings
A symbiosis of oxygen and life, storms and sun, love and death
Babies cries and old man tears, fallen soldiers on green flowered fields
Its little reminders of rust and birth empires built only to burst

As close as we get to perfection time has a way of showing the darkness within
Many men with bloody hands harvesting factories which change the wind
Blocking the shine of the morning, pollution drowning all aspects of a solution
Gods words fallen on slumber ears everyone has answers hiding there only true fears
Man has a way with destroying the magic science only to kill the truth in life
Brothers turning on mothers as families give in to strife
Waiting for change but to busy to change within there own

God has a plan even for me this little king on a empty land
He has followed me in the worst of places only to guide me to far off places
Vanity held me I thought I had the world on my back
Only to see how far I have fallen back
Its hard to see the rose when ego has got a hold
But with gentle hands and no words to scold
He has brought me back to reality as solid of ground I could find
No more chasing the tears no more running from time

My heart went cold and in solitude I tried to die
I gave up on family I screamed at the sky
I blamed everyone else but the monster within
Only to wallow deep in my sin
But the light always shines even on monsters like me
No one can tell me on the powers that be
I have seen the sun and walked in the flame
Only to seek some other mans gain
But threw it all I still stand true
With out falter I will make all days new

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
