I guess this may sound silly.
But, babe, know this is true.
There haven't been created
Words, to express my love for you.
There have been volumes written.
Some inspired from above.
But nothing comes remotely close
To describe, to you, my love.
I love you with all my heart
Sounds a bit clich.
As does, I will love you
Forever and a day.
Higher than the highest mountain
And deeper than the sea.
Don't approach the way I feel
Just know my love will always be.
I could make up a new word.
But who would understand?
Would it let you know
That I want to be your man?
It would have to have the perfect sound
Not too short nor too long.
It would have to have melodic flow
And work well into song.
I love you with all my heart
Sounds a bit clich.
As does, I will love you
Forever and a day.
Higher than the highest mountain
And deeper than the sea.
Don't approach the way I feel
Just know my love will always be.
As I struggle with the right words
I want you to know.
Although I may not say it well,
I hope my love does show.
I want to wrap my arms around you
And hold you close and tight.
I want to chase away all your fears.
You know to me, it feels so right.

there are no words to describe love i think..and i guess what really inspires us to write comes from the heart and to whom it is written for...
great write..

what ever your feelings create, is love. no one can express love, except what they feel with their heart....i think you expressed it very well. hope they see it.
