American History

What defines a terrorist in our world today?
Is it that he attacks civilians of another race?
Then we terrorized the Japanese in ww2
But thats not the point I am trying to make to you
Dont fear men in a cave
Make our government fear the citizens ok
Then no one will feel the need to confuse us
With people that economically abuses
The whole world while implementing plans
To take over all of man
The right to bear arm wasnt a passing suggestion
For you to have a few guns in your possession
They meant to be fight your own government
So they will listen when the people dissent
And how much crime could ensue
If the mugger and muggy were both packin
Learn your own history and you will see
The founding fathers grew weed to put in their tea
Hamilton was shot point blank by Burr in the street
But it was perfectly legal and regulated all right
Its sad what America has come to forget
That Jackson took a bullet to keep the banks in check
And that Woodrow Wilson came to repent
The day he allowed to Federal Reserve to make dollars and cents
Oh Jefferson though his entire life
That if the states power over the feds didnt survive
Wed would live under tyrants bigger than ones they defeat
What would Washington think of the presidency?
If he knew that war can be declared on its own
Maybe I should stop thinking so much
Ive got an ipod, tivo, laptop I havent touched

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
