You strip the thorns from all my roses; they preen themselves in the soul dust from your eyes.
The brook in my heart plumb your depths and rush down the waterfall to swirling rapids below, tracing the path to our Spiritual Sea; settling there in the peace Thorn-Less Roses bring.
There among the sediments layered over these years are our hopes; our dreams; the children who lay down to dream each night, as we once dreamed,
of pretty roses and deep blue seas.

You capture such feeling in your poetry. You are a delight to read, much talent here.

Very passionate and deeply romantic. I really love the metaphors you chose here. There is a real burning fire of all that is being said. You accomplished taking the passion to a poetic level without being overly dramatic! Really well done!
BRAVO!
