Yesterday Tears, Tomorrow Tears of Joy

Yesterday tears is a distant memory
The feelings in it
Slowly slipping away
As I await the break of dawn
And another new day
To feel the heart beating again
To smell in the fresh morning air
Tomorrow tears will be for someone else
Patiently I will wait
For the someone special
To come along and hold me in the arms
Knowing the journey is worthy after all
When I finally shed tears of joy
