Autumn breezes caress my cheek tonight
as I lay thinking of you
The time of year that we love together
with it's cool crispness, flannel shirts,
warm hugs and coffee shared
My heart is thrilled at the thought
and when I hold you in my arms,
love is complete...
Just holding hands, the two become one
It can't be explained, we've tried before
to reason as to what reason
would bring us together
All I know is my love for you
and yours for me
and when everything is said and done,
the two that become one... are.
