Where my love is My heart is also
Without her near
My soul is numb, Filled with the ancient darkness Brooding, ever brooding
Without her voice
My mind is restless, Weary of all thoughts but of her Searching, ever searching
Without her touch
My body aches, For the touch she alone can give Longing, ever longing
She brings joy
That cant be told, By word put forth by pen Or spoken, not even spoken
She brings passion
With fire unquenchable, In her arms I am filled with desire That wont go away, never away
She brings love
Such as never was known By the heart of this man Never once, no, not once.

Your poem is beautiful.
When I don't see any preamble, I tend to pass them by; but I saw the Irish and decided to give it a glance.
You did not disapoint!
Nice work.
