this is a very passionate poem, and all the better for it. the repetition skillfully reiterates the point you are trying to make. i particularly like this bit:
Most nights you'll find me crying
Lying awake in the dark
So many times you abused me
With every action and remark
it's a very powerful verse. good job! |

These reads much like song lyrics. I love the emotion in this and you reserved yourself well. Nothing over the top here, just a solid formula of emotion and a purpose to "get over it". It works, hits home, flows well.
