Your head on my shoulder
Dispels doubt and fear
Melancholy is cast afar
With each tender kiss
My sore heart is soothed
By a hug or a soft whisper
Drawing close to you
Brings such encouragement
Of what we are
And what we will be
To share my life
I want no other
Being loved by you
Brings a feeling
That the worlds kingship
Is entirely attainable
Yet a king surrendered
To a single thought of you
Apart, yet as one
We seize every moment
When freedom allows
Bearing the situation
That is our curse
Ever staying the course
Looking ahead, always forward
To the true completeness
That we will become
Together by chance?
I think not ever
We a love meant to be

a beautiful poem, you've chosen your words very carefully and well. i particularly liked the 3rd stanza, which is nothing short of magical. tremendous work.
