Find Something Burning

I was scared of seeing fireflies in the dark Flickering spontaneously against the blackness of the trees Tilting my head, to hear the sound of the lark Standing up Brushing off The dirt and leaves from my knees
And with our lips, we find something burning We find something burning We find something burning And with our mouths, we put out the flame And place all the blame On anyone else but us Anyone else but us
And there was a dawning come spreading Over the river And you leaned up against the bark and shivered And I knew you'd pull the briars From my hair I turned my head to the sky and all I saw was haze Hovering there
Like snow in eyelashes, you're caught in my sight Like snow in eyelashes, you're caught in my sight
