im sorry
for all that i said
i am sorry
for all that i did
i am so sorry
that i didnt have trust
and only had fear
im so sorry i called it lust
when it wasnt clear
you were the one
and i messed it up
please forgive me
and show some love
i dont understand what happened
what got into me
i guess i was trapped and
could not believe
these are all the things
i want to say to him
but i cant make myself
because i dont believe them
my heart says apoligize
my brain says banish him
i got so tired of all the lies
and now cant manage them
i wont write that apology
because i know its not right
he should apologize to me
but he doesnt in spite
so this time only
ill go with my head
and say no apologys
even if im dead
because it was all his fault
and i guess some mine
cause i put up
with all the crime
so now hell do the time
and i say goodbye

i like how you shifted from apologetic in the first half, to aggressive in the second half. i think it is a sharp, well written, emotional poem, i liked it.

| I play on the same thing that phil was working at. Good job =). It's how I felt before when I went through my first 'rejection', if you understand. But, as the other commenter, (the first?), said, it's never only one persons fault, and I can beilive that. They still could both have the option, if they chose, to start over. Good write =P. |
