Taking a big step forward
Into the unknown
Ready for anything
Or so I hope
But the truth is I am waiting
To get my heart broken
Because that is what you do
And why I find myself hating you
The fact is I am trying to understand
Give you the benefit of the doubt
But why should I
You are a monster
People have hurt me
Stabbed me in the back before
The difference is I never knew
It would be you
Now all I can do
Is sit here trying to understand
And only learn
How much more I really do hate you
