It was never meant to be

Contributed by Oceandreamer on Tuesday, 23rd December 2008 @ 01:39:36 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Weve loved with all our hearts,
and given it all weve got

A soul connection and burning hearts,
but a love that couldnt stand the test of time.
There was no turning back the hands of time,
all that weve had was fallen apart.

Theres nothing left ,
but fading memories,
of magical moments and star cluttered skies.
Weve had it all,
you and me,
I really thought you where my destiny.

Tomorrow is promising a new sun
Theres no point in holding on,
to a love that was never meant to be.

Our paths crossed for a reason,
and Ill be forever grateful for our season.
We where granted the most precious gift,
a chance to love
even though not for long.
Ill treasure our special love song,
like a beautiful memory ready to fly...

Ive done my time.
no more tears,
I shall not cry.
With these words,
Ill set you free
making space for new to enter my life.

Our love was never meant to be.
Im on my way to distant shores,
my special someone is waiting for me
