As I watch the snow falling,
feeling the cold breeze that caresses my face,
a chill i would have, but a wonderful feeling it would be,
i see the children playing,
making snowmen,
and snow angels,
sometimes i wish i was a child again,
as the snow falls harder i stand in the mist of it,
as my back is to the wind,
i know that the snow will,cover my head,
what a great feeling this is,
sliding on the ice,
snowball fights with the neighbors,
sometimes i wish i was a child again,
but now,,,,,no,,,,
somethings are better off left alone,
words we say,,
things we did,
i dont want to live that part of me again,
hurt to much to want to relive,
but i enjoy the life that i have,
nothing more than just me,
i will go and play in the snow,
even if i am alone,
i will enjoy what life has gave me,
one day i will have you to know,
what it's like to have a childs heart,,

| Do we all not wish to be a child again. The new falling snow. The first snowman. It is all a matter of perspective. Now as an old man snow has not got that which excites the feelings of a child. Poem good but for my liking a little to long winded. bern2 |
