when they met, young jack and jill
they had nothing except holes to fill
they were full of hope and joy and spite
until the day came they saw the light
in each others eyes they were lost
they did not know what it would cost
deep in love they both soon fell
but it wasn't heaven they had, only hell
they played a game they could not win
against a demon named heroin
their love was shattered as they became slaves
needles and pain rushed over them in waves
the monster took a magic carpet ride
through thier blood it swam as they slowly died
soon thier blood began to rust and clot
all they could do was shoot up and rot
all it took was one dirty needle, full of disease
to bring the young lovers to thier foolish knees
in the darkest allyway they were found
both lay dead upon the ground
in his final moments junkie jack cries
at the sight of jills lifeless eyes

woah...shocking. not what i was expecting at all. you've took a nursery rhyme and turned it into an effective anti-drug manifesto. sad poem, but wonderful work.
