there is a small "cllip you can hear on My Home Page..in Sound-off a small board I keep of music.

have I ever mentioned
a part of me that can`t let go..
you should see me falling apart.
letting go shouldn`t be so hard..

I can`t believe that you ever existed,
I can`t remember one minute of loving.
I can`t see, We should have "only,
or have one memory of when you held me.
I can not ..lay down and dream you beside me..
lay awake with a heart so empty....
or have that part of me... that just goes crazy.
[then.. letting go would be so easy.]

Lane ... dammit. You pierced my heart with this. How devastatingly beautiful.
If I were not so melancholy this night, perhaps I would see something different,
but tonight, all I see is a sorrow that cannot be held. A sorrow that refuses to be
ignored. A sorrow that builds with each word .. each verse ...
This is amazing, my friend. And I feel it right into my very bones.

I think most every one can relate in one way or the other.
