The wind is blowing Through leafless trees I love the sound it puts me at ease I hope and wait for it to snow But yet again another no show
It makes me think when i was 7 All the snow that fell above from heaven Everyting was white for miles around The footprints of happiness all over the ground
Snow men armies surround the lands Sticks and carrots their nose and hands What a sight it was to see All the cold red faces filled up with glee
But now i sit here in 2009 Praying and dreaming of the time A time of snow A time of white An old irish winter oh what a sight
