Light Up The Sky

Topic: SongLyrics

When the sky opens up will you hold me down.
Do as I promise and break what I say.
Tomorrow is just another day.
Another day when im with you.
The lights in this city are never to bright.
So turn them up and well walk on this fake sunshine all day.
But you never change your clothes so theyll soon fade.
And with it youll be gone.
And ill be sat here.
Ill be sat here.

I see my self in your dreams.
The way you hold it close.
Holding him as I stand in the background.
Growing to big for this city
You can take the man away from the game.
But inside youll never feel the same.

I wear a white suit
But inside im darker then your eyes.
Your awake too much , youre a mess.
But keep on wearing that dress.
And Ill steal another line out of your mouth.
As you kick and shout.
And with it youll be gone.
And Ill be sat here.
Ill be sat here.

I see my self in your dreams.
The way you hold it close.
Holding him as I stand in the background.
Growing to big for this city
You can take the man away from the game.
But inside youll never feel the same.

When the sky opens up will you hold me down ?.
Do you know who I am ?.
Tomorrow is just another day.
When I sit there.
Sit here and be the man in the background.

Hold me in these stars.
Hold me in these stars.
Bright scars open up the sky.
Like the dim-lit lantern it is.
Spread across a two page spread.
Ill hold you down when the sky opens up.
