Two Parts

I have two parts. The spirit, and the intellect. Comfort seeks to serve the spirit. The spirit represses the intellect, willingly substituting social conformity, acceptable wit, and normality for pure, unchecked thought. Lethargy seeks to serve the intellect. When the spirit is worn, when it faces the indelible presence of stimulation from sources beyond the field of its compression, the intellect is released. This feeling, this notion of something so large that is to be let off its collar. It is ensnared, behind the front curtains of the mind; its foot caught in the door. Like Mushrooms, Mushrooms, how it all began. Decay. Decay giving birth to new life. As the decay of my solely self-preserving spirit gives rise to a powerful awareness. There is everything, and nothing--a formidable, fierce, and seductively dangerous mindset. I like it.

A different style full of a heady written type poem.
That is a good thing. I am going to read through it again. I like it!
