but not about me
so when i relay every detail
i'll leave you out
one piece cracked
and the whole wall came down
you were lost in the wreckage
i heard you perished
risks you once would've taken
now completely out of the question
i never blamed you then
now i feel betrayed
we carried the secret for so long
it came down to the very absolute,
and i never thought
you'd be the one to fracture
i had hesitant faith in you
never wanted to doubt you
i held on so long
my dreams became ashes
and now you can't find the words
you speak only blades
i search for the least-pathetic remarks
sometimes i think it works
the summer still seems fictitious
we never existed,
only nightly in my dreams
we're so drastically distanced now
because you care,
but not about me
i pull off a smile even you believe
and i leave you out.

Yes heart can be leaved alone, if you want, but ask the heart if it wants to be alone?
