Another endless fight
We pretend
That this is how it has to end
Another endless night
Will tell
That it isn't going well
Another dreamless sleep
We know
Our true colors once will show
Until then
We just pretend

And if the rain kept us down here
Please keep me locked inside
These four walls around here
Are the ones that'll keep me dry
And if the sun made the shadows
Then who shines so bright for me
Cause I feel like a shadow
Like it's all I'll ever be

Another endless dream
We see
How things are not supposed to be
Another endless life
Will keep
Us out of the deep
Another dreamless world
We hear
Ourself shouting at our fears
Until then
We just pretend

And if my memory won't forget you
Please tell me that you've gone away
My thoughts won't regret you
I'd get back to you any day
And if the sun made the shadows
Then who shines so bright for me
Cause I feel like a shadow
Like it's all I'll ever be

And in our memories we hold
The things most dearest to us
In our memories we keep
Our secrets locked away
In our memories we hold
The ones that ever trusted us
In our memories we keep
Our life so far away
