Time has never been a close friend
held back by your rules, bound by your laws
a friend to those who long for tomorrow and forget the day
with every hour i get closer
not to my end like those in your grasp, but to eternity
with every stroke of the ageing clock i get closer
time, you think your the end of me
but your just a part of a never ending circle
just when you think you can measure my life, im out of your grasp
free from your rules, and not bound by your laws
an eternal life just passing through time
time has never been close friend, just an acquaintance.
