Angel Of Darkness

** Angel Of Darkness **

No, mother I'm not your little angel anymore
I'm what this world made of me
A beast, a monster & innocence fades more & more
To what this world curved us to be

Yes, I wear a little angel smile mask
But in my real world I'm the Angel Of Darkness
Where I live there's only present. No future, no past
Where all smile masks fall to a world of nothingness

Here where everybody loses their sanity
I try so hard to hold on to me
But fighting alone is just so hard
When everyone tries so hard not to see

In a world where black rain falls
People hurting, stabbing, torturing each other
Watching them I'm about to go insane, lose my soul
Screaming : stop killing your brothers
Oh how I miss the little angel in the arms of my mother

They all call me crazy for trying to be myself
Calling me an Angel, & what they really mean is a prey
Trying to pull me in their parade
Calling me "the one who's gone astray"

Shielding the dark, I try to run away
But I can hear their voices whispering:
You have another price to pay
As they're haunting me I hear my heart pounding

But the darkness keeps growing in my veins
&I feel myself becoming what they want me to be
They promise it'll stop the feelings, kill the pain
Can this really happen if I gave up on me??

I'm so tired, I'm so sore
I try to catch my breath
I can't run anymore
& I finally realize, there's no escaping this

How nave I am to think I can hide from it
I turn away & walk slowly toward them, toward my end
& from that moment on Angel Of Darkness remains a myth
I can't smile anymore, no more pretend

Before my surrender,
There's nothing I remember
But saying goodbye to my mother

& now I joined the party
Killing all whose on my way to reaching the top
But what I can't understand
When did my heartbeats stop??!!
