You Have No Clue
that my heart is
an unfathomable lake,
a mirrored stardust...
you have no clue
in stupor of the night
like the floating,
lotus blossom
craving moon drops,
rolling dewdrops
on lotus leaves
at first ray of dawn...
you have no clue
you are chasing,
in yearning
a blurry dream
longing
of some eternal
love
your ramblings,
talks of stories
of yester-years..
the dark and limpid
refreshing,
the reflecting pond..
of some bashful damsel
dipping skin,
soaked in clinging
saffron calm.
your 'Chandpur' girl.
those gazelle eyes
of lined kohl
of angel innocence
un-tampered, undisturbed
never looking back
just once,
she walks away in grace
drenched monsoon clouds,
her tresses
cascading her hips ..
mesmerised
you, the captive prisoner
of traveller in time
seek your 'Beloved' still,
your unending journey
for the 'Chandpur Girl'.
how oblivious you are
that your journey now ends.
little do you know,
and you have no clue
the one you seek, your 'Beloved'
is here,
this is she,
your 'Beloved
the Chandpur Girl'.
