Watching you as you lay there
Head on my chest
Arm drapped over my stomach
Hearing your steady breathing as you sleep
Still can't believe i told you what i felt
I should have known it would have pushed you away
The words came out of my mouth so freely
You even said similar words back
But i realize now i placed you into an awkward situation
Hopefully one day i will be able to let it go
For now i will lay here and hope these feelings go away
Knowing that i will not hear from you again
Why do the ones that dont deserve you get your feelings?
