My lips....stained in tragedy Speak of sorrow and pain Like a storm of heavy rain The love bleeds from my broken heart And I remember you like I remember me Trapped inside a burning photograph Ashes to ashes, dust to dust There's a gun to my head Blowing away the love and murdering the trust Welcome to my fairytale Where the sweetest of dreams are destined to fail Life represents tears Scars represent years As I stood at the edge of your every request Handed you the beating heart from my chest Took a deep breath and fell away into my own demise I descended into the ocean of your eyes Now I'm drowning in the lies The scent of your name still heavy on my breath As beautiful as life carrying more sadness than death I keep you locked inside my mind Draped across my every thought Inside this life of a million faces Yours is the only one I haven't forgot The way you looked into my eyes Layed me down kisses candy coated with goodbyes The eternal taste of defeat carried by the lullaby of my broken heartbeat My shattered dreams glazed over with the sorrow that bleeds through me And the poetry that remains falling from my lips..... Stained in tragedy.... : :...Because nothing is as beautiful as it seems.
