Ive had my heart broken
too many times before;
Theres no way
I can give anymore.
Broken, torn and weeping
My feelings crushed
I can't repeat it.
No chance at true happiness,
only defeat it seems,
when will my true love
come for me?
And then I see you-
your eyes, your lips;
my eyes, my lips,
coming from a distance
and ever so discreet.
I want to leap
into your arms,
to feel your breath
upon my face.
But I don't.
I won't..
Too many times
I've been hurt before,
that I can't give your love
a chance it deserves.
