Friends Strike like Lightning part 2

friends strike like lightning when death is uncertain
approach with caution it is your only option
Reminiscence about the past life
before the closing of the curtain

I could of sworn we would live through old age
our friendship was secure like being locked in a cage
buddy's at birth grew to be brothers on earth
we were like twins, knowing each others favorites
When one half was missing it was not equivalent

we did and shared everything together even the inseparable
from a piece of gum that had been unwrapped to be swallowed
It became ridiculous, when we even split a cigarette
with me taking the bitter half, it would just make us laugh
We gave the time for one another, which was well spent
For holidays, we both knew what to get for a present

friends strike like lightning when death is uncertain
approach with caution it is your only option
Expect the unexpected because when it happens
Its beyond electrifying when people are dieing
