I'm hiding in the shadows of this willow tree
Watching you rest your weary eyes in the meadows sunlight
The shade is my protection, it blocks me from your view
You're just out of reach, darling...
Wherever you are
Lost inside your dream
Floating above space

A barrier blocking me; sunlight
I'll dig myself underground and find a forgotten cave
If only you could be searching through these shadows for me, too
We breathe the same air
Go meet me there
We can be together

The wind is my voice
The birds carry to you my tune
The dew from the morning air is for my lonely tear
Wake up and open those drowsy eyes
You're just out of reach...
Come hide with me

Cool off in the shade of this weeping willow...

Gazing at you from the shadows of this old willow tree
Searching for an answer
