The space between us smouldered As your eyes locked onto mine My breath within was banished And my heart beat out of time I knew I was flirting with danger And was weary of falling again But decided the risk was worth it For maybe you felt the same I leapt from my place of safety And with both arms spread wide I fell freely into the unknown abyss Taking a chance on the ride
