shatter the sky

uncaptured heart breaking darkness that surrounds
through the sweet summer rain i see
flickers of dancing light scar the sky
day falling into a husk of night
i glimpse your eyes walking home
next to me our hands locked
a sweet innocent embrace
your hazel hair caresses me
i gently bring you closer
i stare into eyes of verdant grandeur
lips of silver powder grey lipstick
lost among the shadows of your face
a false smile creeps on to your face
a shudder of sick resenment for it startles me
you giggle so daintly
shaking your frail trim structure
we share a glance
you beckon me welcomingly to come closer
into your mystery
i approach
our lips touch
in frozen dusk
