My hand moves across your hip as he watches you slowly, slowly, trying not to sweat. His stare intensifies, and he sees the smile flicker across your face, cutting him deep. My lips curve, knowing my agony now is his own. These hands shake when I pull you closer, unable to feel your heart's quick, flickering pace. Victory shines in my eyes, when yours reveal something like desperation all over your face. The subtlety in the room makes my goal foggier. You want me too, like I want to click my heels. I know what he's thinking, he has seen you this way before; I've felt once how he feels. Seeing your torso arched into mine, he wants to surrender. Give up everything, to the memory of you falling away and being caught by another. We throw our gazes to him, in harmony as we are, at the sound of an acidic "crack." And he understands, that I've won you back.
