A Stream of Consciousness
Aeons ago..
In some other space and time
when there was
no existence
of You,
though
in spirit You
might
have been..
But know
that I existed
then
yearning,
I was
in the realm
of Alakapuri
amidst a magical lake,
Lake Manos Saravar
an abode of swans
with wings gossamer
illumined by
the
iridescent moon and
celestial stars..
Longing..
Kalidasas Megha-Dootam
the Messenger Cloud
messages, amourous on
billowing clouds
heaped upon
rain soaked
monsoon
clouds..
Could it
perhaps be
in serendipity
I was the secret
surreptitious throb
seated
at Shakuntalas
heart?
Suffering angst
of separation
pining
awaiting
at the foot
of Meghalaya
Abode of the Clouds'..
dipping..
Lac-tainted delicate
lotus feet
in the meandering
mirrored
Jaflong stream
a mellifluous song..
reflecting
darkened pools, brimming
doe-like eyes..
There were whispers
in the wind
that no mortal
was I, that
I alighted
from Heavens
a Nymph
to be seated
in the heart
of Beloveds
they said..
A delightful mystery
in years to come
impassioned transient
intangible
elusive,
the Golden Fawn
passing through
Time in
a Wispy
Dreamlike
trance..

wow! you introduced me to beautiful places like megahalaya and lake manas sarovor and you engraciated my conscious with beautiful writing. this is the type of poetry that i appreciate. simply brilliant.
