I was a poet I sure did know it Now something is missing The ryhme and reason unknown Haven't written a poem in ages it seems When written they don't flow Lost my muse But it feels more like a blown fuse There's so much going on So much experience Yet nothing is sparking I'm at a loss Even this is choppy... it's lacking me where am I? I've lost me... I've lost my inner poet

I can understand..though you have not lost your inner fire you are feeling the coldness.
First of all you blow out the ashes that are covering the fire ( inner poet).
then throw some firewood and start burning..God bless..
