The vision of your smile sticks in my brain
like the taste of your lips while standing in the rain
your always on my mind
but you know nothing of the kind
we were together once upon a time
two kids with hearts full of love
until conflicts baffled our rhyme
and everything came crashing from above
i'm not sure what caused it
or what made her move on so quick
maybe she couldn't commit
maybe our future didn't seem optimistic
however tomorrow another day
and my love is here to stay
will she notice tomorrow?
or will i continue on in sorrow...
