I watched them celebrate People I had never seen before Smiled and made weird faces at me As I observed my surrounding An old man came around to see He poured oil and said some unknown words With fear I began to cry But everyone seemed excited For a moment I felt as calm as a sea I was now happy to be me And a smile came upon my face After he said the name funmi
