courage and bravery aren`t born
with gender, Woman are lost
in Wars as well as Men, the "stats
might shock You.
this was personal ..This person still today writes "Letters
it was written for all the brave Men and Woman
that will not return, and the brave men and woman
and children left behind.

Letters
I`ll sit down tonight
try to write You one more time,
between the heart, and the candlelight..
when You come back to Me.
I shouldn`t have this old photograph,
Your favorite song running through My head,
did I mention..how hard it is
when I have to let you go all over again.

and place it here in my heart.
I will send this "in care of..
everyday that goes by....

with all the X`s and O`s...

Oh my dear Lane, I'm so sorry I came to this so late. *kicks dumb computer*
There is something in the words here that strikes the heart in a melancholy
way. But not just melancholy-- it's tremendously moving. Makes you WANT
to feel, you know? No matter how painful, or fractured a memory leaves us, we
hold unto it as if it is the most precious piece of gold.
This is what your piece makes me feel. Painfully beautiful and beautifully painful.
