I wanted to give up
all greed and lust
and forget the pain
that I got from the past
the truth felt so bitter
which I tried to deny
but felt it every time
when I tried to lie
every sorrow that I got
echoed in my face
but I tried to smile
thinking of new days
everything I did
pretending not to fake
I failed every time
for all my mistakes
only I faked to be glad
which I was not any way
all the words that i had
could I never even say
and grieves of past
still reflects through life
blackness of truth
makes my heart to thrive
when I stand when I try
blood refuse to flow through my vein
makes me to cry and
give up hope once again

| it was fairly simple, there was no originality in this piece. it was Ok the flow went off at the end of each verse |
