Cross Out My Eyes.

Topic: LostLove

Cross out my eyes
So you can't see me cry
I'm shattered like the wings of a glass butterfly
I now know how it feels to die
When the seams of existence break apart
My life without you is represented by a broken heart
And ever since you left nothings been the same
I sit staring at your picture through a broken picture frame
Your name still fresh on my breath and resonating off my lips
I walk around with a gun to my head hoping my finger somehow slips
Blowing away the memories of that fateful day
As I sit and watch the clock eat the minutes of my life away
Daydreams of razorblades cutting me away from this skin
A release from the pain of being betrayed by the only one I've ever believed in
The sadness is insane, it's got me harboring a pain that I can't even explain
Like a million devils whispering into my brain
The burden of your hate rests like the world upon my shoulders
And with each breath I seem to grow a little colder
Your voice still echoes inside my mind, so unkind
In that one single moment, love collided with evil
Yet I was hopelessly devoted, like a junkie to a needle
Everything once so clear, became a faded blur
Congratulations on a perfect murder
And I wish it didn't affect me the way that it did
But ever since you left I've wandered this earth like a lost little kid
Abandoned under poisonous skies
Remembering what it feels like to die
And all that I ask is that you cross out my eyes...
Because you don't deserve to see me cry.
