Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath,
Ready?
No, are you ready?
Fine.
Remember ,
This was all your idea.
Deep breath,
Breathe in, breathe out.
Let yourself fall,
Let your body go limp.
You really want to keep going?
Alright, fine.
Continue to fall,
Its a bottomless ride,
No! Stay limp,
Keep your eyes closed!
Continue.
Let the silver kick in,
It shimmers off you,
Extracts in your mind.
Dizziness.
Feel the swelling?
Feel the pound?
Further into your head,
You can hear it.
Can you?
Can you hear the whisper?
Louder it gets,
You almost here it clearly.
Listen ..
What is it saying to you?
Wait, is that you?
Yourself confronts you,
GET OUT.
GET OUT!!!
Run, run wherever you can,
Hide in the corner,
Find safety in the dark.
But its not over.
Youve just fallen asleep.

Great poem!! So powerful!! I know this feeling - everytime I fall asleep which is why I choose not to sleep.
