You would never have noticed him,
If I hadnt told you how much I liked him
You would never have smiled at him as you pass by,
If I didnt tell you how perfect teeth he has
And then he would never have looked at you
He would never share that smile with you MY smile
He would never have came up and said hello
His eyes will never sparkle adoringly at you
Like the way it did
That should have been mine
And he would never, ever have asked you out
Or come with you to last nights ball
Or leave me alone that night, wondering
Would it all never happen if I had shut my mouth?

| This is a great poem. It conveys a lot of emotion. It has a very subtle and soft feel to it while expressing what must be great pain. Im sorry for what you went or are going through but it obviously compelled you to write a good poem. Keep it up. |
