Teardrops in the sand;
tiny craters
engraved by my eyes,
but erased by the tide.
Salty tears
meet the
salty waves.
Harken and display
to my world and yours.
Exploding on the rocks,
sprays of laughter
at my pain
even my own tears scorn me.
Yet its pain I dont control.
So please
please,
wash away the pain.
Wash away the tears,
leave no trace
so no-one ever sees
my teardrops in the sand.

Firstly, welcome to YPDC :D It's very good to have you here.
This is an excellent first post. It leaves just enough to the imagination, and yet provides enough that you really feel like you can relate to the writer. It's really very good.
I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for your writing in the future.

Wow I concur with Phil- I can't believe there is not more comments on this piece. And welcome to YPDC. I will also keep my eyes peeled out for the petals of tears.
