Locked Away

Locked away in my room, all I want is to be alone. Alone, so I can think about all my issues, all my worries.
I really do want to think, have the place to myself. At the same time, being alone is so far from what I really want.
What I really want, what I really need, is someone here to guide me, hug me, hold me.
A human, their affections, it's all I seek, all that I've desired.
I covet a love so sweet, but can't bring myself from hiding or risk rejection, so I stay here, locked away, alone.
