Victory is far from all bliss
We loose lives despite who wins
As souls dissolve into deaths kiss
Why do we have to fight
A war to regain peace
When we're stronger to unite
Our pride denies defeat..
Does a flag in hostile soil
Show a nation to take a stand?
Fighting a war, for oil
Upon someone else's land
Do two wrongs make it right?
Is there any other way?
Protests may ignite
But we are still deprived our 'say'
When the battle cries are done
And nuclear clouds accumulate
Nobody could bare to look back at war
And her whorish terrible fate

I appreciate a strong opinion in a poet but more so than that - I appreciate reading poetry that can incorporate a strong opinion.
You do have a flourish in your writing.
I'm also happy to read political poetry that I can understand. Thank you.
