The thrill and excitement that pulses through your veins,
The rush of a touch leaves you hazed in an alcoholic heat of passion.
No time to arrange your clouded thoughts, just animalistic instincts.
Common sense and Caution walked out the door with fleeting first glances.
Trailing behind an empty bed and a cold shoulder,
One night of raining bliss ends.
Groggy hands hold up a heavy head,
Trying to make sense of a scattered brain.
Did you know them, this devil in disguise?
No name comes to mind, no place, no time.
Just one night of panted words,
Leaving you red faced in the waiting room
Listening to the test answer
To what could have been the biggest mistake of your life.
