Dear Imagination...

Contributed by jessb3 on Friday, 6th March 2009 @ 05:52:20 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Dear imagination
You are my saving grace
You help remember moments
And put smiles upon my face
But I also really must discuss
The other thing you do
Sometimes I think you go too far
When love makes its debut
You whir ahead so far in time
To moments with the man
And how youll live so happily
Your life becomes a plan
Youll gaze into each others eyes
And watch the setting sun
Then all at once loves ended
With none of this begun
So now I beg and plead with you
Dont cause yourself more pain
If love once more should come your way
The dreams, you must refrain

I love the poem but hey, let the imagination run with it. It's fun.

Take care,

Tim

You truly have a gift with words
- which is handy as a poet,
i fill my glass and drink to you
- a delicious glass of Moet.
Regards, John.
