I knew it was you
that lifted me away,
you planted your heart
and still to this day...

you strive number one
and working like you choose,
but give yourself a break
pushing like you do...

After what I seen
and how that I felt,
I seen your progress
while visiting down south...

But to see Devin
and when I was there,
while looking at his mommy
and her beautiful awares...

I write my presents
and throughout this new poem,
Im ever so thankful
I visited your' home...

I remember years ago
something that I said,
but do you remember my words
did they ever plant in your head...

Heres what I said
incase that you forgot,
your still the one
and that was allot...

So dont ever change
look at what you do,
stand back and see Devin
as it only proves...

That your mommy of the year
and everything that youve done,
I hug you a million times Paula,
Youll always be my number one...
