If the rays shining from your smooth,
dark hair lit up my face every day,
I'd be okay with that.
And if the breeze of your words
brushed against me all the time,
I'd be okay with that.
And if the peak of your frame
could cover me in shadow,
I'd be okay with that.
And if I could hide in the shelter
that is your palm,
I'd be okay with that.
If I could feel the Heaven that is
the blue in your eyes looking down at the Earth in mine...
I would be very, very okay.
