"I could it,
right now.
Just end it here.
I know how."
"DO IT!!!!"
She screams.
"I can't take it anymore...."
She weeps.
She looks at the pills
and the glass of water.
She is a sister, a friend
and a daughter.
"Dieing will be best
but I wonder how it feels."
Her hands were shaking
as she reached for the pills.
She lifted the bottle to her lips,
and remembered...
Christmas mornings long ago,
Trick-or-treating with her friends.
Shooting fireworks on the 4th,
Kissing her love to no end.
She dropped the bottle -
defeated.
"I will keep going," she promised.
"I will beat it."
