Midnight Lullabye

Low
Pale and painted
Moon
Now drift
Drifting down
Down
Silently seeping
Into my sleep
Lift me
Melt me away
As saffron dreams
Ebb over me
Memories I recall
No end
Places I find
So sweet
As blackberries
And marmalade jam.
